Engine No.7

The Beaches Museum is proud to present the first annual Riding the Rails: Pablo Beach Train Day!  Join us for an incredible day of all things trains on Saturday September 10 from 10 AM-4 PM!

Activities will include two operating model train displays in our 1900 FEC Mayport Depot and the Museum Lobby, an antique toys table, tours of our 1911 Steam Locomotive, Mayport Depot, and 1900 FEC Foreman’s House, and much more!  Operation Lifesaver will be demonstrating train safety and handing out goodies for the kids and a ride-able train engine will run in the neighborhood from 10:30 AM-3:30 PM.

Join us at 2 PM for a fantastic presentation with our key note speaker Florida East Coast Railway Historian Seth Bramson!  Listen as he discusses the incredible history of the FEC Railway and its impact on Florida.  The presentation will be held in our historic 1887 Chapel.

Boy Scout Troop #37 will provide food including hot dogs and hamburgers and the incredible group Doubletake will get the crowd moving with music from days gone by.

This event is open to the public and free!  A suggested donation of $5 for the presentation with Seth Bramson is recommended.  For more information contact the Beaches Museum at 904-241-5657 or email info@beachesmuseum.org.
