Welcome to the Beaches Museum Archives. We aim to preserve and share the unique culture and history of the Beaches area from Mayport in the north to Palm Valley in the south.  We accept donations of photographs of, articles about, or items used within the Beaches area by Beaches residents or visitors. 

Donations

If you think you have an item we would be interested in adding to the collection please consult our Collections Policy, fill out a Deed of Gift, and contact the archivist at archives@beachesmuseum.org. 

*Please note that all items may not be added to the collection due to the condition of the item, storage considerations, redundancy, or relevance to the Museum’s mission. 

Research in the Archives

The archives are open to the public by appointment Tuesday through Friday 10 AM – 4 PM for research. Please contact the Archives and Collections Manager at archives@beachesmuseum.org to set up an appointment.

Research Requests

If you cannot come to the archives yourself, special research requests may be submitted. Research requests are $25.00 an hour with a 2-hour minimum charge. These fees help support the preservation of the archival collection at the Beaches Museum and are conducted by archives volunteers as staffing allows. Please contact the Archives and Collections Manager at archives@beachesmuseum.org to begin the process.
