The Beaches Museum Concert Series will kick off it’s 2024 concert schedule with “Jimmy Hall with Phil Swindle & Friends” on Wednesday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Grammy award winning soul vocalist Jimmy Hall continues to thrill audiences worldwide. Jimmy first gained popularity as the lead vocalist, saxophonist, and harmonica player for the band Wet Willie emerging from Mobile, Alabama. His unique brand of R&B infused rock and onstage swagger propelled the group’s signature song, “Keep on Smilin’” to the Top 10 on the Billboard singles chart.
A huge part of the Jimmy Hall story is his extensive friendships and collaborations with Jeff Beck, Gregg Allman, Billy Gibbons, Jason Isbell, Blackberry Smoke, and the Marshall Tucker Band.
Described as “powerful, sublime, and completely authentic”, concert-goers will feel gospel and blues-infused conviction as he draws from a very deep well of soul.
